Gandhi college of pharmacy Karnal is situated on G.T. Road, bye pass N.H 1 near I.T.I. Chowk, Karnal.This college in many way excels the other institutions of this sort. This college was established in the year 1983 by Shri Sain Educational & Vocational Trust Karnal & Professional Education to eradicate non employment problem of the nation and to fulfill the dream of late Mahatma Gandhi ji “The Father of the Nation” as well as to inculate and develop Moral & Spiritual values in the students to be the best citizen of the nation.
A regular assembly of the students in Sai Satsang hall of the college on every Ist and IIIrd Thursday of the month is held since beginning. Every student avails the opportunity to express his/her views on the topic of Moral & Spiritual values, duly prepared by the respective batch incharge.
The college is equipped with very fine laboratories, lecture theaters, library, museum, student common room, parking shed, cafeteria, vast lawn etc. The college has got an experienced, excellent highly qualified teaching staff and most efficient non-teaching staff upon which the smooth running of any institution depends. The college offers following Technical courses to the students:-
- 2 Years Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharmacy) Course (Since 1984)
- 4 Years Bachelor in Pharmacy (B. Pharmacy) Course (Since 2022)
The college is duly approved by Pharmacy Council of India(PCI), all India Council for Technical education (AICTE), Govt. of Haryana and affiliated toPt.B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, (Haryana) &Haryana State Board of Technical Education, Panchkula (Haryana).
The college has been granted PCI approval for its current batches.
The college has annual intake of 120 students in D. Pharma course and 60 students in B. Pharmacy Course.
The college library has wide range of books, periodicals, national journals, reference books and news papers to fulfill the academic needs of the students.
